When my mini-van broke down on the way to Detroit a few years ago, I had it towed the rest of the way to Detroit so we could still attend our event. Unfortunately, the shop wasn't able to get the work done before the event ended, so we were able to catch a ride with friends to get home. Three weeks later, after the repair shop and insurance finally hammered things out and got the parts my vehicle needed, I was able to get a friend to drive me back to Detroit (about 4-1/2 hours each way) to pick up my vehicle. On the way back, we were driving separate vehicles and in both cases our charging cords for our vehicles stopped working so we couldn't keep our phones charged. We lost contact with each other and were lucky to both make it home (I was paying her gas and we needed our phones to be able to figure out where to stop). My friend almost ran out of gas and had no way to reach me. An emergency charger would have been a real godsend that day!Linda Szymoniakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15446927494050524568noreply@blogger.com
