Tri D'zigns Ying Yang Wall Hanging Review & Giveaway

I have always been fascinated by the Eastern Philosophy for its peaceful nature and beautiful symbolism. From Feng Shui to Taoism there is so much to learn and appreciate. I also love Eastern artwork, so I was excited when I came across Tri D'Zigns. The artwork in this shop is unique, beautiful, and made to last. They offer wall hangings, prints, furniture, clocks, computer graphics and more that are embodiment of magic and mystery.

No matter what path you follow in life, you are probably familiar with the Ying Yang. It is an ancient Chinese Symbol that embodies the belief that there is a positive and a negative side to everything in the universe which creates balance. The Ying Yang  can represent the male and female, night and day, heaven and earth, death and life. Its a powerful symbol, but also a beautiful one.  I find that a Ying Yang is a wonderful tool for meditation so I was thrilled with the amazing Ying Yang Wall Hanging from Tri D'Zigns. Not only is it a beautiful decoration, its also a focal point.  The craftmanship is amazing, and the detail is lovely. It looks beautiful hanging on my wall and its a conversation piece I know will get noticed. It can be easily hung from the wire wall hanging or would be perfect as an altar tile.

The Ying Yang is only one examples of so many beautiful pieces you can find at Tri D'Zigns.  They have some lovely wall hangings of the four elements--earth, air, water, and fire. They also offer a selection of prints of the lovely Solari playing a variety of instruments including flute, clarinet and violin. All of their artwork is made by hand and offers the kind of quality you aren't going to find in department stores. If you have New Age taste or love Eastern artwork, this is one shop you definitely need to visit.

One very lucky winner is going to receive a beautiful Ying Yang wall hanging of their very own. To enter just visit Tri D'zigns and tell me another piece you love. Fantasy Clay Review & Giveaway

I am a writer of fantasy, so of course I love fairies, dragons, unicorns and all things whimsical. I collect all types of fantasy items from prints, to statues, to jewelry. Its a way of bringing a little magic into my everyday life. Recently I came across an adorable little shop on Artfire called Fantasy Clay that creates amazing works of handmade art using polymer clay. Each piece is a unique, one of a kind creation. They are fun to collect and beautiful to look at.

For my review, I received the adorable polymer clay Flying Dragon Necklace. This combines two of my favorite things, artwork and jewelry. When I saw the picture, I was a little worried that the necklace would be heavy and uncomfortable, but it is surprisingly lightweight. You won't even realize your wearing it. The dragon is exquisitely detailed from his life like gaze to the leaves on his wings. Interwoven into the wings are multi colored beads and he is clutching a quartz crystal in his hands. In addition to using it as a necklace, its also perfect for hanging from your mirror in your car to bring a little magic and protection everywhere you go.

Dragons are only one example of the mystical creatures lurking around every corner at Fantasy Clay. You can also find aliens, owls, angels, woodland fairies and more. They also offer some cute holiday figures, like elves and Santa. If you aren't into fantasy knick knacks, but you are planning a wedding, they also design custom cake toppers. All of their pieces are one of a kind and are available at every day low prices. If you are a collector of fantasy art, this is a shop you will definitely want to visit.

One very lucky winner is going to receive a gift certificate for $25 to the Fantasy Clay Artfire shop. To enter, just visit Fantasy Clay and tell me your favorite piece. For additional entries you can do any of the following but you must complete the initial entry first. Be sure to leave one comment for each entry you complete.

Mindful Matters Dragonfly Bookmark Review & Giveaway

Like most writers, when I'm not working on my own books, I enjoy reading creative works of other authors. I am still old fashioned. I haven't gotten a Kindle. I like the feel of a real book in my hands. I treasure my collection of both fiction novels and non fiction research books. So when I need to mark my page, there is no creasing back the pages. And paper bookmarks get beat up too easily. I am as picky about my bookmarks as I am about the books I read, so I want only the best. Recently I discovered a wonderful little company called Mindful Matters that creates exotic and unique, handmade book marks that are just what I was looking for.

For my review, I was sent a lovely Dragonfly Hook Bookmark. The stem of the bookmark is decorated in silver tone flowers. Dangling from the hook are a variety of colorful beads. At the end of the beads is a dragonfly, which has always been one of my favorite symbols. Unlike most metal bookmarks, this one is thick and sturdy. It will not bend easily. The hooked corner will stay firmly in place so you won't lose your page. But it is so pretty, you might find yourself losing your place in your novel as you admire the amazing and intricate details on the lovely polymer clay bead work. In addition to the dragonfly bookmark, they also offers butterflies, honeybees, hummingbirds and more.

Bookmarks are only one example of the beautiful products you can find at Mindful Matters. She also offers an amazing collection of stunning handmade jewelry including earrings, pendants, pins and more that are inspired by nature and spirit. Her pieces are unique and exotic, but available for prices that the average person can afford. Most are under $30, even though they are handcrafted from polymer clay and precious metals.  If you are looking for a unique gift, or a little something to spice up your spring wardrobe, look no further than Mindful Matters.

One lucky winner is going to receive the same lovely Dragonfly bookmark that I received to review. To enter, please visit Mindful Matters and tell me another item you would love to have.  For additional entries you can do any of the following but you must complete the initial entry first. Be sure to leave one comment for each entry you complete.

Happy Beltane

May 1st many people celebrate Beltane, a festival that has been around for centuries. The most well known activity is the dance around the May Pole. Another old tradition was to leap over the Beltane fires with the person you hoped to marry. It  is a day to celebrate the coming fertility of the land and our bodies.
