#Phantom is Coming! Earth Star Studios Review & Giveaway

There are two things that I really enjoy collecting. One is crystals and stones. The other is Goddesses. I have Goddess statues, jewelry, incense burners, plaques, wood carvings and just about anything else I can get my hands on. If its a Goddess, I will probably buy it. One of the things I have recently started to collect are Goddess prints.  I always had a few of the classics, but I recently discovered that Etsy offers a  wide range of glamorous Goddess art.  One of the shops I came across in my travels is  Earth Star Studios. From original water colors to holiday greeting cards, your patron Goddess is waiting for you to discover her at Earth Star Studios.

Meg, the artist behind the paintings, was nice enough to send me a large selection of her work to review. As beautiful as they look on the computer screen, they are even more amazing in person. My two favorites are the Luna and the Danu.  Luna is my circle name, and so of course I had to have this one.  I love her flowing hair and the reflection of the moon on the water. Its the perfect center piece for a full moon ritual. Danu is the Goddess of Fertility, and in this picture, she is portrayed as breastfeeding an infant, which appealed to me as a mother.  Each Goddess is left featureless so that the individual can find a personal connection with her. Both of these pieces are part of the Spiral Goddess collection, which features a mix of human features and expressions of energy which flow as spirals from their hands and feet.

One of the other items I really love at the Earth Star Studios are the Wheel of the Year prints and greeting cards. They have one for every pagan holiday. The one shown in the photo above is Ostara, the Spring Equinox. Its the day that the day are night are equal. The tradition of eggs and rabbits being symbols of Spring are derived from the Anglo-Saxon Dawn Goddess, Eostre, who is depicted in this print.

  1. I love Earth Star Studios! I have an 11x17 of the Danu print in my youngest son's room. It's been there since before he was born and he knows who she is. I've even heard him talking to her. Meg is a phenomenal artist too! Love her stuff!
