Today is Yule, The Winter Solstice, and many people from many cultures are celebrating the return of the sun. Even Christmas is celebrated in December to correspond with this important celestial event. I came across this yahoo video yesterday, thanks to NJ Pagans, and thought it would be interesting to share. It gives a quick summary of the solstice and how it ties into many modern day celebrations.
