Interview with Adam, Overlord of the Guardians from Guardian Angels by Andrew P Weston

In a series of terrifying events, otherworldly beings intervene to save innocent lives. The world community reacts with relief as they realize that angels may in fact exist, and they are diligently protecting us.

But there are those who would seek to stop what they feel is a threat against their livelihoods. How far will some go to battle the Guardians? Is the fairy tale over before it even begins?

Guardian Angels is a powerful and compelling story about the catalyst that has the power to unite society in the hope for a better future. The spark of hope is fragile—can it last?

Interview with the Overlord of the Guardians, Adam.

Hello, it’s my great privilege today to be in a position to interview the man behind the mask, the elusive and shadowy Overlord of the Guardians, Adam.
You’ve met his people in action, and we’ve seen an example of what they can do. More importantly, we saw what Adam himself is capable of when he stepped in to save the day in Texas and Oklahoma. So, let’s find out a bit more about him, and his organization.
Hello Adam, it’s lovely to actually meet you at last as I know you rarely give interviews
Thank you, it’s refreshing to get out and about a bit more.

So, Adam. Adam what?
Just Adam will do. You wouldn’t be able to pronounce my given name.

Why is that?
Why? My name isn’t meant to be “pronounced” by a…mundane set of vocal chords or normal tongue.

What do you mean by that?
My apologies, that’s not something I’m willing to discuss until you’re ready for it. And by “you”, I mean Mankind in general. So, no offence.

None taken. Okay then, can you tell us about your family?
My family are…well, let’s just say, they’re very unique. So unique in fact that you might not ever get to meet them all. In fact, it’s highly unlikely. There are so few left, even here on the earth, and they insist on their privacy. So, if you don’t mind, I’ll keep their identities secret until they feel comfortable enough to reveal themselves to you. Being related to me can have its…drawbacks. So, please be patient, book 2 will start to satisfy your curiosity more than you realize.

Book 2? You know how to keep people dangling don’t you?
I’m sorry, that’s not my attention, I assure you. I just don’t think my creator would appreciate me giving away plot points ahead of time J

I appreciate that. So let’s try another line. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I was never what you would call a child. At least not so far as I can remember. My ‘upbringing’ was vastly different to what people are used to. Since my conception, I have always wanted to be the best I could be, and please my Father. By and large, I managed to do that quite well. When new, I always aspired to excel and serve with a purity of purpose unparalleled among the host.

Host?
Sorry, slip of the tongue. Forget I said that.

O-kay! What are you passionate about these days?
Helping humanity fulfill its potential and reach their rightful place among the stars. It’s unimaginably vast out there, and one day – if you keep yourselves in check and achieve the balance you are capable of – you’ll fill the cosmos with song.

Seriously? Humanity?
Seriously! You forget, my most powerful gift is that of precognition. I’ve seen your future – well, one of your possible futures anyway – and although it’s a long, long way off, you are capable of achieving a unity and balance that will set an example throughout the…
Whoops! Nearly gave the game away there, eh?

I doubt that. I think perhaps you’re trying to entice us in some way?
Wait and see. Sometimes, it’s good to be…tugged in the right direction J

What do you do to unwind and relax?

If I’m feeling adventurous, I position myself within the corona of a blue/white giant star, and allow the plasma waves to burn through me and over me, caressing away the stresses and pressures that build up from being Mankind’s guide for so long.
If I feel like peace and quiet, I allow myself to drift along the tranquility of the endless night that exists between galaxies. The solar winds have a depth and timbre and resonance that is sooo soothing. Immersing myself in them allows me to clear my mind enough to consider the plans I need to ensure the years ahead of us follow the right path.
In rare moment, I also love to extend my consciousness along the causational probability nodes that exist between realities. The dark matter of creation is filled with a myriad of unforeseen, unexplainable colors. Music too, if you only take the time to listen to the atoms at play! That music has a bouquet and taste that satisfies the soul in ways no other thing can. Its essence imbues me with the resolve I need to see my task through to its completion.
Harmony exists all around us. You just have to learn how to recognize it.

If you could apologize to someone in your past, who would it be?
My Father! I let him down badly, once, a long, long time ago. I should have sided with him over an important issue but didn’t. I deeply regretted it, and I’ve been working hard to put things right ever since.

So what makes you happy Adam?
Knowing I’ve done the very best I can to make amends and seeing mankind stepping ever closer to their potential. Although the last few years have seemed chaotic, behind the scenes the human mind is making huge strides in the right direction.

What is the next big thing?
The Unification of mankind and finding my way home.

Would you care to clarify that?
What do you think? J. You’ll have to wait for those answers…and even then, you’ll need to work it out for yourself. But you will. You’ll see. I have every confidence in your capabilities.

Do you have a favorite quote or saying?
Service – Sacrifice – Honor

If we ever wanted to speak to you, how would we contact you?
Well, to be honest, I don’t have much need for mobile phones or Facebook or anything like that. My people tend to get much more accomplished mentally. But we’re very, very busy as recent events have shown. So, I think the best way of answering your question is to say…If you WANT to speak to me, you’ll be waiting a long time. But if you NEED me, well, the response will be virtually instantaneous. We’re not Guardian Angels for nothing!

Yes, we saw evidence of that when you appeared, out of the blue at Lawton! Transcension! Would you care to discuss that a bit more?
I’m sorry! This isn’t really the time or place for that.

Well, is there anywhere we could find out more about transcension?
Certainly. Guardian Angels by Andrew P Weston goes into this process in much more detail, and of course, you can visit his website to get an overview.

Do you have those details?

Thanks for that Adam. I’m sure quite a few of our readers will want to explore the implications of that, AND what our futures hold. In the meantime, do you have anything specific that you want to say to the readers?

Thank you very much for taking the time to find out a little more about me. Obviously, if you want the whole picture, you’ll need to follow the story as it progresses. All the secrets about my organization and family will be revealed, and believe me when I say…The truth is more startling that you can possibly imagine.
I look forward to meeting you more fully in…”Guardian Angels” book 1 of the Guardian Series.

Thank you very much for being here, I…Oh! He’s just disappeared! Obviously Adam is responding to an emergency somewhere.
So readers, if you DO want to find out more, please feel free to check the links above, and follow the adventures of Adam and his people in Guardian Angels. He’s seen the future, and I for one would love to find out more about what he knows!

About the Author

Andrew P Weston was born in the city of Birmingham, UK and grew up in the towns of Bearwood and Edgbaston, eventually attending Holly Lodge Grammar School for Boy’s where he was School Captain and Head Boy.
He was an active sportsperson for the school and a variety of rugby, martial art, swimming, and athletics teams throughout the city.
On graduation in 1977, he joined the Royal Marines and served in a number of roles both in the UK and abroad.
In 1985 he joined the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, serving as a police officer in a variety of uniformed and plain clothed departments until his retirement in 2008.
Over those years, he wrote and illustrated a selection of private books for his children regarding the life of a tiny kitten, called, “The Adventures of Willy Whiskers”, gained further qualifications in Law and Religious Studies, was an active member of Mensa and continued to be an active sportsperson, providing lessons free of charge to local communities.
An unfortunate accident received on duty meant Andrew had to retire early from the police force, but after moving to the sunny Greek island of Kos to speed up his recuperation, he was at last able to devote time to the “Guardian Concept” he had developed over his years in the military and police.
When not writing, Andrew enjoys Greek dancing and language lessons, being told what to do by his wife, Annette, and hunting shadows in the dark. He has not managed to catch any yet, but is sure he came close on 2 occasions.
