Celtic Attic Helps Celebrate the Upcoming Release of Morrigan With a Giveaway!

My newest YA novel, Morrigan, will be released on October 31st, 2012.  Morrigan is a tale inspired by my love of Celtic mythology and legend. The story takes place in the land of Tir na Nog and the characters are named after goddesses of Celtic legend including Hecate, Ceridwyn, Brigid, and Arianrhod.  Of course, Celtic symbolism will also come into play, and you will hear about the triple moon, the Celtic knot, and of course, the triquetra. If you ever watched the television show, "Charmed",  you will probably recognize this symbol as the sister's family crest.  But the triquetra or Trinity Ring was a magical sign long before the Hallowell's adopted it. To many, this ancient symbol represents the three aspects of the Goddess--maiden, mother, and crone (an important element in Morrigan). It can also  be interpreted in many other ways, depending on the path you follow, but no matter what it represents to you, it is a beautiful and ancient symbol.

If you love the triquetra and enjoy finding lovely jewelry and decorative items that display this symbol, than a wonderful place to shop is Celtic Attic. They are a store that offers beautiful Celtic jewelry and decor, but I especially love their triquetra selection.  You can find pendants, bracelets, earrings, rings, sun catchers and more, all emblazoned with this eternal symbol. The selection is amazing, so you are sure to find something perfect for your personal style.
